Veterans Pressure Washing is Coming!
We are thrilled to announce that Veterans Pressure Washing will be on site the week of June 14th to soft wash the exterior of the homes. There will need to be some participation from you that will have to be abided by, in order to avoid them having to skip your unit. We'll lay those out for you a few different ways to keep it on your radar along with the ways to stay connected for future updates.
Soft Washing 101 Guidelines:

- All unit windows and doors must be closed to avoid damage
- Patio gates must be unlocked in order to access the rear of the unit until after service is completed
- Front and back patios must be cleared of all personal belongings in order to be serviced
- Back patio items can be pulled out onto the common grass before/during service only - all items must be pulled back inside in a timely fashion to avoid violation
- Vehicle windows must be closed as they may get wet since hashtag water (ex if the soap blows and lands on your vehicle they will kindly rinse it off, or a windy day)
- Failure to abide by these guidelines could result in your home being skipped
- Veterans, Metro or the Cottages Board is not liable for failure to comply or any damages
- A flyer will be placed on your door a day or two beforehand, email communications will go out, and information will be posted on the Facebook Group as needed
- All work is weather dependant, for example rain/storm/etc could delay a day or two depending on timing
SPECIAL OFFER - We are offering an additional service for purchase by individual homeowners. For $20, you can get your back patio concrete washed on the day of service. Homeowners must sign up and pay before Friday, June 11th. You can sign up by replying to this email for more details and how to coordinate payment. This will be cash only, no refunds will be given. Compliance on the above guidelines are laid out in order to avoid being skipped.
We hope you are as excited as we are about this news. This will kick off a summer of maintenance fun. Please be patient, as our vendors are currently overloaded so we will roll out announcements as we are able.
Here are some other to be sure you get communication from us:
- The Metropolitan Homeowner Portal - if you are signed up, you should already be receiving something that can come from our Metro Property Manager (one was sent last Monday from Kim Malone, did you receive it?)
- This email distribution list - we try not to blast too much, too often, but we feel that it's a faster way to communicate important information because hashtag snail mail
- NEW! Text Alerts through Remind - these will be infrequent but meant for the super important stuff or anything that might be randomly urgent
- Private Facebook Group - join your neighbors, we post more in depth updates there or share posts that are important to Residents
- Facebook Fan Page - we share information there too, so give us a like when you are able
We ask that if you are currently renting out your unit, that you let us know by visiting the website and registering your tenants so that they can receive certain Community on-site updates from us as well. Since they are living here, we need to make sure that all eyes see and understand what is going on.
